<blockquote>Defteri Anagnosi is a product of collective work - it is produced by a group and expresses a spectrum of broader reflection on public discourse. [...] The Bulletin is identified as "alternative" in the historical sense of the term. That is, it identifies the principles that will serve as focal points for the selection and commentary of current affairs: emphasis will be placed on issues that have to do with efforts to expand the "space of freedom" and to undermine or replace structures and systems based on hierarchy and power [such as capitalism, patriarchy, racism, colonial interventions, ecological destruction, etc.]. In this context, the insistence on rational filtering and conscious suspicion of the media spectacle is liberating because it intends to engage the "receiver" in an active role of questioning the discourse that the spectacle tries to impose.
