Το **Κινηματικό Αρχείο** είναι μια απόπειρα να γίνει προσβάσιμη η ιστορία του κυπριακού ριζοσπαστικού κινήματος σε ολόκληρο το νησί, όπως καταγράφεται μέσα από τις εκδόσεις του, με έμφαση στις προηγούμενες δεκαετίες χωρίς να αγνοούνται οι σύγχρονες δημοσιεύσεις. 
Θέλουμε το υλικό να είναι προσβάσιμο σε όλες και όλους, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη και τις ανάγκες ατόμων με μειωμένη όραση, σε διάφορες εύχρηστες ψηφιακές μορφές.
 
Είναι σημαντικό το αρχείο να αντέξει στον χρόνο, αποφεύγοντας τόσο την φυσική φθορά των εντύπων, αλλά και την χρήση εφήμερων μη-ελεύθερων μορφών ψηφιακών αρχείων που ίσως να μην μπορούν να διαβαστούν από μελλοντικό λογισμικό. Παράλληλα, η δημιουργία αντιγράφων του αρχείου από οποιοδήποτε άτομο θα είναι όσο το δυνατό πιο εύκολη για να αντιμετωπιστεί το “ένα μοναδικό σημείο βλάβης” που θα μπορούσε να εξαφανίσει το αρχείο ανεπιστρεπτί. 

====Regarding the Archive====

The **Movement's Archive** is an attempt to make the history of the Cypriot radical movement throughout the island available, as it is recorded through its publications, with an emphasis on past decades; but without ignoring recent publications. 
We want the material to be made accessible to all through various useful digital forms, keeping in mind the needs of individuals with depreciated eye-sight. 

It is important for the archive to last through time, avoiding the physical depreciation of the printed material, but also the use of short-lived non-free digital forms of archiving, that may not be readable by future software. In parallel, the creation of copies of the archive by any individual will be made as easy as possible, in order to target the “single flaw” that could damage the archive irreversibly.
