The Autonomous Jugglers were a libertarian juggling group in Nicosia, active from 2012 to 2014.
Group Identity
We are jugglers from the street (for the street) who believe that happiness is not found on a clothing label or on a café table. We believe happiness is found where there is no profit, exploitation and other capitalistic values.
On the occasion of the everyday sacking of our time from work hours, consumption, production, school, private lessons we decided to organize something for us, not just as a proof of what we are capable of when we get organized but also for the fun of working together with others to build an anti-commercial phase.
We hope to create an incentive in every square, in every street, in every city, people with common hobbies to start clustering NOT based on their common interests or their common looks but based on their common desire ‘to have fun, laugh, feel WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY FOR MY FEELINGS’1)
