1917 is a left-wing political group active since 2022. It is an evolution of The Justice Project.
Group Identity
1917 is a political organization committed to building a Marxist left. As part of our efforts to build a Marxist Left, we solicit and publish articles and essays on our website. We believe that Cyprus lacks a theoretical and ideological exchange of views from a revolutionary left perspective, and we aspire to make a start on correcting this. We will sometimes publish our own views as an organization, but we also accept external submissions, as long as they are critical of the present from the left, in a general sense.1)
