5 Κείμενα από το Αρχείο
Στην προσπάθεια μας να γίνει το αρχείο πιο προσβάσιμο, παρουσιάζουμε εδώ 5 βασικά κείμενα του ευρύτερου Κυπριακού ριζοσπαστικού χώρου που εντοπίσαμε και αρχειοθετήσαμε στο αρχείο.
'Η Κύπρος, το Εθνικό και ο Εθνικισμός - Μία Ελευθεριακή Ανάλυση' (1984)
Γραμμένη από ανώνυμο Κύπριο Αναρχικό, η μπροσούρα πρόκειται για μια από τις πρώτες θεωρητικές προσεγγίσεις σε σχέση με το Κυπριακό, από μια ριζοσπαστική ελευθεριακή σκοπιά και αποτελεί πλέον κλασικό θεωρητικό κείμενο του Κυπριακού ριζοσπαστικού χώρου. Η παρόν έκδοση αποτελεί αναδημοσίευση της μπροσούρας, από την Ανοιχτή Συνέλευση Αγώνα Άνω Πόλης Σαλονίκης, τον Ιούνη του 2018.
'Οικολογία και η Φαινομενικότητα μιας Ψευδαίσθησης' (1985)
Οικολογικό κείμενο που κυκλοφόρησε στο στέκι της Χρυσαλλίδας στη Λεμεσό, με αφορμή τον Ακάμα. Έχει συνολική έκταση 9.5 σελίδες και περιλαμβάνει εκτενή αποσπάσματα από διάφορα έργα των Max Horkheimer, Karl Marx, Peter Kropotkin, Murray Bookchin, Ivan Illich, κ.α. Ενά από τα ελάχιστα οικολογικα θεωριτικά κείμενα του Κυπριακού αντιεξουσιαστικού χώρου.

'Το Κυπριακό και τα Διεθνιστικά Καθήκοντα των Ελληνοκύπριων Επαναστατών' (1988)
Το βιβλίο εκδόθηκε από την ομάδα Εργατική Δημοκρατία. Πρόκειται για ίσως την πιο εκτενής μαρξιστική ανάλυση του Κυπριακού Προβλήματος, βασισμένη πάνω στο θεωρητικό υπόβαθρο του επαναστατικού ντεφετισμού.
'Κυπριακή Συνείδηση - Διάλογος για μια Εμπειρία Χωρίς Όνομα' (1992)
Αυτή η μπροσούρα κυκλοφόρησε ως απάντηση στη λογοκρισία που ακολούθησε την εκπομπή Χωρίς Πλαίσια του ΡΙΚ στις 4 Ιούλη του 1992, όπου ο κοινωνιολόγος Αντρέας Παναγιώτου είπε πως είναι Κυπραίος και όχι Έλληνας. Παραμένει μια από τις ποιό προσβάσιμες και παράλληλα ανεπτυγμένες εκφράσεις της Κυπροκεντρικής θέσης. Πέρα από το αρχείο PDF, η μπροσούρα έχει πλέον δακτυλογραφηθεί (με εξαίρεση το άρθρο του κ. Καζαμία).

The Movement's Archive is an attempt to make the history of the Cypriot radical movement throughout the island available, as it is recorded through its publications, with an emphasis on past decades; but without ignoring recent publications. We want the material to be made accessible to all through various useful digital forms, keeping in mind the needs of individuals with depreciated eye-sight.
It is important for the archive to last through time, avoiding the physical depreciation of the printed material, but also the use of short-lived non-free digital forms of archiving, that may not be readable by future software. In parallel, the creation of copies of the archive by any individual will be made as easy as possible, in order to target the “single flaw” that could damage the archive irreversibly.

The Movement's Archive is an attempt to make the history of the Cypriot radical movement throughout the island available, as it is recorded through its publications, with an emphasis on past decades; but without ignoring recent publications. Επιτροπή Συμπαράστασης στον Αντιρρησία Συνείδησης Γ. Πάρπα - Committee for the Support of Conscientious Objector Yiannis Parpas

Το 1988 συστάθηκε η Επιτροπή Συμπαράστασης στον Αντιρρησία Συνείδησης Γ. Πάρπα, μετά από την φυλάκιση του πρώτου Αντιρρησία Συνείδησης στην Κυπριακή Δημοκρατία. Το αρχείο έχει πλέον εντοπίσει, καθώς και δακτυλογραφήσει διάφορο σχετικό υλικό (που χρειάζεται μετάφραση).
1) Για μια γενική καταγραφή της σύστασης της επιτροπής βλέπε το 'Ένας Αρνητής Στράτευσης - Το Τέλος του Μακροχρόνιου Αγώνα'.

In 1988 the Committee for the Support of Conscientious Objector Yiannis Parpas was formed, after the imprisonment of the first Conscientious Objector in the Republic of Cyprus. The archive has by now located, as well as typed various material (that is now in need of translation as it is only available in Greek).

Big Expansion of the Archive: Magazines, Punk, New Groups, Updates
The Archive has been significantly expanded in the last few months, expanding in type of content as well as chronologically. This material concerns primarily the Greek version of the site. The key developments are outlined below:
- The archiving of the 1980s magazine Within the Walls (Εντός των Τειχών) has been completed. All issues are now online and can be accessed from its page. The magazine played a key role in the expression of Cyprocentric political positions in the 1980s, as well as a medium through which artistic and theoretical concerns could be expressed on a diverse range of issues. It often hosted articles on Cypriot history, the sociology of Cyprus, the analysis of political developments and the environmental movement.
- The archive is proud to present the magazine Mavres Pinelies (Μαύρες Πινελιές). This rare publication was printed in Lyon in 1982 and ran for only 1 issue. As of today, it remains the oldest anarchist publication to have been located.
- A republication of Cyprus, the National Issue and Nationalism - A Libertarian Approach (Η Κύπρος, το Εθνικό και ο Εθνικισμός - Μία Ελευθεριακή Ανάλυση), a key Cypriot anarchist brochure of the early 1980s by a Greece-based grass-root political group saved us the trouble and effort in locating and archiving it. The anonymous brochure, which is temporarily located in the Traino stin Poli page, is a long and analytically thorough critique of Greek (Cypriot) right-wing and left-wing nationalism, with particular emphasis on class, historical and patriarchal dimensions.
- We have now expanded into archiving DIY punk and have included the albums of both the band Within the Walls (Εντός των Τειχών) and Nuclear Mutants in the archive, as well as the former’s single-issue bi-lingual magazine publication. Both bands can claim historical significance for the DIY and Cypriot punk scene. They are also included in th English archive.
- A significant development is the initiation of the archiving of long established extra-parliamentary leftist groups, particularly Workers’ Democracy (Εργατική Δημοκρατία) and The Leftist Faction (Αριστερή Πτέρυγα), also known as Socialist Expression (Σοσιαλιστική Έκφραση). We currently have a number of brochures, books, leaflets and newspaper issues available, although it will take a long process until we are able to locate and archive the totality of their material.
- The Black Pen (Μαύρη Πένα) brochures, published autonomously in Limassol as a medium for open poetic expression, have all been archived and are on the archive.
- The manifesto of Drasy-Eylem, the first and only bi-communal political association to have ever entered elections has now been archived. We currently seek to find the document in Turkish and English (if it existed). Sadly, their website has been down for a number of years. In similar fashion, we have also archived the manifesto of the online group Stasis (στάσις), which is now available on the archive.
- New items have been added for antifa lefkoşa (1 brochure and 1 leaflet), the Anarchist Kernel (Αναρχικός Πυρήνας) (a series of leaflets signed with the group’s old e-mail) and the Communist Circle (Κομμουνιστικός Κύκλος) (1 leaflet form 1980).
- Pages have been created for Bandiera, Agkarra (Αγκάρρα), Leftist Intervention (Αριστερή Παρέμβαση) and Thoupos (Θούπος) Publications, although no content has been located and/or uploaded yet.
